Inserting the filters
Join the retaining clamp and fine filter.
Insert fine filter with retaining clamp into con-
tainer.
Insert coarse filter into fine filter.
Pump option: Insert intake tube, with the connect-
ing piece pointing toward the rear, into the con-
tainer.
Insert the container into the guide rail and push
back against the stop.
Fill bowl
Fill the bowl with fresh, pure vegetable frying oil
or semi-liquid frying grease.
Keep the expansion by heat in mind! Fill the bowl
up to the minimum mark. Check the bowl after
the contents are heat and fill in more frying oil or
frying grease as needed.
Do not use solid grease (block grease) to fill the
bowl! This frying grease would harden after cool-
ing and filtering and pumping would no longer be
possible!
The appliance may only be used with liquid cook-
ing fat or oil.
CAUTION
Danger of slipping! Immediately
clean any fat splashes off the floor.

Start-Up / Control Operation
The functions described in this chapter refer to the factory settings of the control.
Therefore, some notes in this chapter may deviate if settings made by the user or customer service were
changed in the control. This applies to the acoustic signal, standby function, standby temperature, tem-
perature steps, cooking time correction, etc.
The settings possibilities also depend on the equipment of the appliance.
