•
Follow your system’s instructions to prepare to add devices to the system.
•
Remove the face plate from the Sensor and pull the battery tab to start
the pairing process.
•
When the Sensor is detected and added to the system, proceed to the
Sensor installation.

•
Identify the location for the Sensor and Magnet, orienting the
flat end
of
the Sensor and Magnet
parallel
to each other as shown, and the
Magnet on the right side (side with indicator).
The preferred location
for the Sensor is on the door or window casing on the handle side of
the door or window, with the Magnet on the door or window as close as
possible to the Sensor. Proper installation may require mounting the
Sensor and Magnet inverted or rotated from the orientation shown.
•
Position the Sensor at the desired location and screw into position
using the screws provided.
If screws are not appropriate, use the included
adhesive pad by first removing the brown backing of the adhesive pad
and attaching it to the Sensor bottom. Make sure to properly align the
tamper switch opening. Then remove the white/red paper tape and press
the Sensor to the desired location.
(For UL installations, the unit must
be mounted with screws.)
•
Open the Magnet case, position the Magnet at the desired location and
attach to the door or window with the screws, replacing the Magnet cover
when done. If screws are not appropriate, use the adhesive pad by first
removing the brown backing and attaching it to the Magnet bottom. Then
remove the white/red paper tape and press the Magnet to the desired
location.
(For UL installations, the unit must be mounted with screws.)
Depending on the depth of the door or window in the frame, the included
spacer may be required to raise the Magnet above the surface of the door or
window. Use the longer screws to attach the Magnet with the spacer.
•
Open and close the door to verify that the Sensor is working properly, and
the Sensor or Magnet does not interfere with the opening and closing of the
door.

(Use only Duracell DL-CR2, Rayovac RL-CR2, Energizer EL1CR2, or GP Batteries GPCR2 batteries)
•
Slide the Sensor face plate up and lift it from the Sensor body.
•
Press a finger on the positive end of the battery and lift to remove the battery
from the Sensor.
•
Insert a new battery into the Sensor, observing the proper polarity.
•
Position the Sensor face plate over the Sensor body and slide the face plate onto
the Body.

•
Remove the face plate from the Sensor.
•
Remove the battery.
•
Press and hold the tamper switch while re-inserting the battery.
•
Release the tamper switch when the LED lights on the front of the Sensor. The
Sensor is reset to factory defaults and will respond to pairing requests.
•
After pairing, replace the face plate on the Sensor.
