BEFORE CONNECTING
Read this manual carefully before using the M2DL2 meter.
The assembly and installation of this equipment must be
carried out by qualified personnel in electrical
installations.
Check that the equipment characteristics indicated on its
label correspond to those of the installation where it will
be used.
Do not use the equipment if your plastic wrap is damaged
and return it.
Do not connect the equipment to the system without first
disconnecting the power supply. Avoid field work unless
another person is in your vicinity and can assist you.
A safety device must be connected to the measuring line.
This device may be that of the installation, if its range does
not exceed the maximum current of this equipment.
Do not use the equipment in explosive atmospheres or in
damp environments with the possibility of condensation.
The equipment requires no maintenance, must not be
opened, dangerous voltages may exist inside.
CONECCTION
The connection manual can be found on the side of the
meter and in this manual. For a correct operation it is only
necessary to connect the input and output (terminals 1 and
2) of the phase and neutral (terminals 3). All other
connections are optional, the L- and L+ connections
(terminals 4 and 5) are used if the meter is connected to an
RS485 communications network. Terminals 6 to 9 are
used for connecting the active and reactive energy pulse
outputs to external counters or pulse totalizers.
