ST2S SMART TUNER
SIRIUS Satellite Radio with AM/FM
As an RNET
®
source component, the ST2S is an
ideal high-quality radio source to complement
Russound’s RNET multiroom systems. Indepen-
dent SIRIUS Satellite Radio and AM/FM tuner
modules provide two simultaneous audio sources
with program feedback. The SIRIUS tuner module
displays channel names, artist
names and song titles and the
AM/FM module displays station
frequencies on the system’s UNO
Smart Keypads and UNO-TS2
Smart Color Touchscreen.
For integration with other multi-
room audio and home automation
systems, the ST2S provides sepa-
rate IR control ports and an RS-232
port with a documented serial pro-
tocol. Two additional ports allow direct control of
the unit with optional ST2-KP keypads, and the
front panel allows control of the unit as well.
The ST2S Smart Tuner offers six banks of six pre-
sets, for a total of 72 presets. Both the bank names
and the preset names are customizable and will
display on the UNO keypads and touchscreens in
any Russound RNET system as well as on the
optional ST2-KP keypads.
The SIRIUS module provides a
parental lockout feature to easily
block access to specific channels.
The ST2S also includes a dedicat-
ed IR remote control and rack ears
for single-unit rack mounting.
The ST2S is the first of Russound’s
dual Smart Tuners to embody our
new industrial product design. The
face of the unit flips down for
access to the front-panel controls.
SIRIUS Satellite Radio service requires a monthly
subscription.
