When adjusting, follow the steps below:
The carburettor should be adjusted by specialized personnel in an authorized RURIS service
centre. Carburettor malfunctions or engine unit damage caused by improper adjustment will
not meet the warranty conditions.
Be sure you adjust the chainsaw carburettor with the chain bar and chain fitted.
Screws H and L have a restricted number of rotations as shown below
H
– 1/4 L – 1/4
2. Start the engine and let it run at small speed for a few minutes to heat up.
3. Turn the adjusting screw (T) counter-clockwise so
that the chainsaw chain does not move. If the idle
speed is too low, turn the screw clockwise. This
adjustment may be made by the user.
4. Make a test cut and adjust the H screw for the best
cutting power, not for maximum speed.

11.3 SAFETY EQUIPMENT ON THE CHAINSAW
This chainsaw is equipped with a mechanical brake to stop the rotation of the chain, once the
recoil appears during a cutting operation.
The brake is automatically applied by an inert force
acting on the weight inside the front guard. This brake
can also be applied manually with the front guard
pushed towards the guide bar. To release the brake,
pull the front guard up towards the front handle until
you hear a "click". (Fig. 22)
