SAFETY IN THE WORK AREA
a. Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas make accidents easier.
b. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
explosive liquids, gases or dusts. Power tools generate sparks that can ignite dusts or
vapors.
c. Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can
lead to loss of control.
4.2 ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a. The power tool socket must fit the socket. Never modify the socket in any way. Do
not use socket adapters with grounded (grounded) power tools. The unmodified socket
and compatible plugs will reduce the risk of electrocution.
b. Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ovens and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electrocution if your body is grounded or
grounded.
c. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
d. Do not mishandle the cable. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging
the power tool. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or tangled cords increase the risk of electrocution.
e. When operating a tool outdoors, use an outdoor extension cord. Using a suitable
outdoor cord reduces the risk of electric shock.
f. If operating a power tool in a damp area cannot be avoided, use a power supply with
residual current device (RCD) protection. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of
electrocution.
This tool has double insulation; therefore, grounding is not required.
Always check that the power supply matches the voltage on the
specification plate.
♦ If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by an
authorized RURIS service point to avoid danger.
4.3 CHAIN SAW SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
♦ We strongly recommend that first-time users receive hands-on training in chainsaw
operation from an experienced user and use protective equipment. Initial practice
should be carried out by sawing logs positioned on a saw head or frame.
