Fault 3: Link indicator is not on after the connection.
[ Fault Description ]
The LINK indicator is not lit for the port after the network cable or optical fiber is inserted.
[ Troubleshooting ]
Check whether the switch and the connecting devices are powered on. Verify the network
cable is connected properly to the switch and related devices at both ends. Check whether
the proper type of cable or optical fiber is used, whether the switch SFP modules at both
ends match, whether the lengths of the RJ45 cables and the optical fiber cables are within
limitation, and so on.
Fault 4: The system shuts down automatically.
[ Fault Description ]
The machine shuts down automatically after a period of operation.
[ Troubleshooting ]
Check whether the power plug is loose. Check whether the power supply fails. Check
whether the power supply voltage fluctuates. Check whether the fan at the back side of the
chassis is running. If the fault cannot be located, the internal power module may be faulty.
Fault 5: The fans do not work.
[ Fault Description ]
One or more fan(s) is (are) not running.
[ Troubleshooting ]
Check whether the power plug is loose and whether the power supply is normal. If the Power
indicator is on, it means the power supply is normal. If so, the fan may be faulty. Replace the
fan.
Fault 6: The serial port console has no output.
[ Fault Description ]
After the system is started, the serial port console does not display any information.
