In Edit Private view, the <Add protocols> option can be clicked, which adds a protocol to a port.

Figure 22.6. Selecting a Protocol Type in the Edit Private screen

Selecting a protocol type from the Protocol field in the Key Settings form associates a protocol with
a serial port. Rawsocket, TcpModbus or DNP protocols can be selected. Unused ports should be
left associated with "none". Changing an association immediately closes the calls of any protocols
previously selected on the same port.
