Diffserv Commands
diffserv outprofile
Creates and configures or deletes an diffserv out-profile action. May enable up to 128 out-
profiles for the switch. If more than 128 out-profiles are created, a warning will prompt the
user and the new out-profiles will be ignored. Deleting an entry bound to an out-profile
action is not allowed.
Command Mode: Global Configuration
Syntax
[no] diffserv outprofile <id> meter <meter-id> {drop | dscp <value>}
Description
■
<id>
- Sets the diffserv out-profile index ID.
■
<meter-id>
- Sets the meter index ID. May be an integer from 1 to 65535.
■
{drop}
- Drops traffic packets.
■
{dscp <value>}
- Sets the 6-bit dscp value in the IP header.
■
no diffserv outprofile
- Disables (deletes) diffserve out-profile actions.
Example
!Creates a diffserv action on Index 4, sets meter id to 2 and out-
profile action to drop.

diffserv outprofile
4 meter 2 drop
Switch(config)#
!Deletes diffserv out-profile actions on index 4.
