Command Line Interface
Diffserv Commands
diffserv inprofile
Enables (creates and configures) or disables (deletes) diffserv in-profile. May enable up to
128 in-profiles for the switch. If more than 128 in-profiles are created, a warning will prompt
the user and the new in-profiles will be ignored.
Command Mode: Global Configuration
Syntax
[no] diffserv inprofile <id> {drop | dscp <value> | cos <value> |
forward}
Description
■
<id>
- Sets the diffserv in-profile index ID.
■
{drop}
- Drops traffic packets.
■
{dscp <value>}
- Sets the 6-bit dscp value in the IP header.
■
{cos <value>}
- Sets the 3-bit priority value in the vlan tag.
■
{forward}
- Force forwards packets (default).
■
no diffserv inprofile
- Deletes in-profile diffserv settings.
Example
!Creates in-profile Index 23, and configures DSCP value to 42.

diffserv inprofile
23 dscp 42
