Generating Multiple Dynamic PSKs

If you will be generating DPSKs frequently (for example, to configure school-owned
laptops in batch), you may want to generate multiple DPSKs at once and distribute
them to your users in one batch. Before performing this procedure, check your
WLAN settings and make sure that the Dynamic PSK check box is selected.

To generate multiple dynamic PSKs:

Scroll down to the Dynamic PSK Batch Generation section.

Target WLAN

, select one of the existing WLANs with which the users will be

allowed to associate. (Only WLANs with DPSK enabled will be listed.)

Number to Create

, select the number of dynamic PSKs that you want to

generate. ZoneDirector will automatically populate the names of each user
(BatchDPSK_User_1, BatchDPSK_User_2, and so on) to generate the dynamic
PSKs.

Role

, select the Role you want to apply to this batch of DPSK users.

Dynamic VLAN ID

, enter Dynamic VLAN ID.

If you want to be able to identify the dynamic PSK users by their names (for
monitoring or auditing purposes in a school setting, for example), click

and upload a batch dynamic PSK profile instead. See

“Creating a Batch Dynamic

below for more information.
