1 Basic Product Information
1.1 Input Output Control module IOCM43 (hereinafter – IOCM43) is designed:
– to control four alarm loops (hereinafter – ALs) with non-addressable fire detectors;
– to control actuating devices with the help of the outputs with circuit integrity control;
– to control the actuating device with the help of output switching contacts of "dry contact" relay
type.
1.2 IOCМ43 complies with requirements of EN 54-18.
1.3 IOCМ43 is designed for the operation in fire alarm systems developed on the basis of R3500 device.
1.4 Power supply of the logical part and data exchange with the Device are carried out via the addressable
communication line (hereinafter – the ACL) connected to R3500 device.
1.5 ACL is galvanic isolated from IOCM43 power supply sources.
1.6 IOCM43 allows the connection to ACL regardless of polarity.
1.7 IOCM43 is powered via two inputs from external DC power supply sources with the voltage range of
(10.5 – 14) V and (20 – 28.5) V.
1.8 IOCM43 occupies 8 addresses in the system:
– 4 alarm loops;
– 2 outputs with the circuit integrity control;
– 1 “dry contact” output;
– 1 reserve.
1.9 IOCM43 performs the following functions:
– monitoring of alarm loops status;
– control of outputs and output status;
– IOCM43 status indication (see Table 1);
– monitoring of unauthorized opening of IOCM43 enclosure cover;
– testing of the communication over the ACL using the TEST/tamper button.
1.10 IOCM43 is designed for continuous operation at an ambient temperature of minus 10°C to plus 55°C
and a maximum relative humidity of (93 ± 2) %, without condensation.
