The AES Status display shows a summary of the most relevant status data
of one of the digital input channels. The measured sample rate is displayed
in this mode as well. The AES Status display is available in all channel
configurations.
The AES Status display will show up in the Multi Instrument 2 provided it
was selected as Primary Function for this instrument in the Modify Preset
menu.
Note:
Please refer to Chapter E 3.3 to learn about how to access the Modify
Preset menu. See Chapter E 5.2 for a detailed description.
E 4.5.1 Key Functions in AES Status mode
Pressing and holding the SELECT button in the AES Status mode gives access
to the channel selection. The key function is labeled in a column next to the
buttons while holding
SELECT .
Note:
To access the right set of key functions the Multi Instrument 2 showing
the AES Status display must be highlighted with a white frame before
pressing and holding SELECT . Otherwise the key functions of one of the
other instruments will be displayed and active instead. To move the frame
to the Multi Instrument 2 press
SELECT repeatedly before holding it.
• Cha (Channel)
The Cha (channel) key selects the physical input channel used for the
AES Status display. All six input channels 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 4A
and 3B are accessible one by one pressing the channel key repeatedly.
