ROUBLESHOOTING
Some common problems and their solutions are outlined below:
Digital Inclinometer app cannot connect to the reel
•
Check that the correct reel has been selected in the Measure->Devices list. The
selected reel Bluetooth ID last four digits should match the serial number of the last
four digits of the reel. If the reel is not visible on the list after 20 seconds, proceed to
the next steps.

Ensure that the Reel Hub is powered up by pressing the reset button. Check to
ensure that the status indicator light on the Reel Hub is either on solid or flashing.
Whenever the reset button is pressed, the Reel Hub terminates the existing
connection and commences the Bluetooth discovery and pairing process. Under
normal operating conditions, the Digital Inclinometer app and reel should connect
within 30 seconds after applying the reset.
•
Check that the Reel is not already connected to another Digital Inclinometer app that
may be within Bluetooth coverage. If the Reel is connected to another app, the Reel
ID will not appear in the devices list.
•
If the Reel Hub had been reset once or twice and the Digital Inclinometer app still
does not display or cannot connect to the Reel Hub, close and re-open the Digital
Inclinometer app.
