Opel Louver Trim (Top)
The Opel Louver Trim is a portrait style frame to cover the rough-cut edges
of finishing around the opening of the upper louver on an Opel fireplace. It
is not intended for use with heavy or thick finishing’s.
Required Prior to Installation
:
Rock Retainer Kit (FO-KP3) and thin facing should be installed.
INSTALLATION
1. Ensure the FO-KP3 Rock Retainer
Kit and thin facing material (e.g. tile)
are installed and finished.
2. Apply a thin bead of clear silicone
(high temp is not required) to the
back of the Opel Louver Trim.
Applying excessive silicone may
cause it to spill over when pushed
against the facing.
The fireplace
louver
can
be
removed with the OPLT is installed.
3. Push the Opel Louver Trim into the
top louver opening and allow the
silicone to dry.
