Operation instructions

The laser beam produces a bright spot on almost any reflective
surface, however it is most visible on light or red coloured sur-
faces. Dark colours absorb the light so the laser dot is less bril-
liant. Direct sunlight on a laser target will be too bright and will
overpower the laser beam. We would suggest shading the tar-
get in these applications.

Note:

The on/off switch substitutes for the beam attenuator
requirement as described in the American food and
drug administrations department; centre for devices and
radiological health.

Note:

When reading from the laser dot, always mark 1" below
the spot to be inline with the base of the laser level. As
the level is 1.980" (50.29mm) high, you are working with-
in a ±0.010" (0.254mm) tolerance.

Battery replacement

Unscrew battery compartment end cap, slide out the three bat-
teries. Replace with 3 x 'N' alkaline cell batteries, ensuring the
negative ends are inserted first. The positive end should be
towards the battery end cap.
