12.1 Battery -

Dismantling

Continental GT



The battery is located on

the left side of the

motorcycle.



Ensure the motorcycle is

parked on its center

stand, in a well ventilated

area.



Ensure the ignition

switch and engine stop

switch are in OFF

position.



Unlock and remove the

battery cover.



Remove the battery

carrier bracket by

loosening the two

screws.



Pull the battery out

slightly from the battery

carrier.



Remove the battery

from the carrier.
