Clean the drive chain carefully. Apply chain lubricant
while simultaneously rotating the rear wheel. Wipe off
the excess lubricant.
 Ensure the
motorcycle is in
upright on a firm
and flat surface.
 Hold the spindle
from the LH with
a screw driver and
loosen the spindle nut with a 24 mm ring spanner
and loosen the LH & RN Chain Adjuster by using
6 mm Allen key.
 Align the line mark in the adjuster and swing arm in
both the sides & set the drive chain free play for 25
to 30 mm by using steel rule.
 Tighten the LH & RH chain adjusters in the swing
arm using a 6 mm allen key.
 Tighten the spindle nut fully.
 Ensure the chain tension should be 25 to 30 mm
using a ruler / scale.
 Clean, lubricate every 1000 km or early as req-
uired, especially in rainy season or excessive dirt
accumulation.
 Maintain drive chain slackness within specified
limits every 5000 km or early as required.
