Fade from : To increase the volume at the beginning of the
selection, drag the slider up.
To decrease the volume at the beginning of the selection,
drag the slider down.

Fade to : To increase the volume at the end of the selection,
drag the slider up.
To decrease the volume at the beginning of the selection,
drag the slider down.
4 Click OK to apply your changes.
5 To preview your changes, use the playback controls ( Play, Stop,
Previous marker/track, Next marker/track ).
Tip: If you are not satisfied with the effect, click Fading &
Volume , and choose Reset Volume Envelope to undo your
changes.
To adjust balance:
1 Select the region on the audio clip where you want to adjust the
balance. For information on how to select the waveform, see
Selecting the waveform region to edit on page 19.
2 On the Clip Editor toolbar, click Apply fades and adjust volume ,
and choose Adjust Balance .
The Balance Fading dialog box appears.
3 In the Balance Fading dialog box, drag the sliders to adjust the
balance of the selection:

Fade from : To move the balance at the beginning of the
selection to the left speaker, drag the slider up.
To move the balance at the beginning of the selection to the
right speaker, drag the slider down

Stop Previous marker/track
Next marker/track
