5.6.3 Sash

5.6.3.1 Friction stay

INFO

The figure shows installation on an aluminium profile. The installation process is the same for timber and
PVC profiles.

1. Ensure that the frame and sash are securely joined.

INFO

Ensure that the installation surface is
level.

The figure and installation steps below
apply to profiles with a sash groove.

Packer strips are not required for
profiles without a sash groove.

Position the packer strip [1] in the sash groove [2]
on the stop.

2. Fasten with screws [3]. The number of screws

depends on the size of the packer strip.

3. Position the friction stay [4] in the open position on

the reference surface



5.3 “Reference surfaces”
