The safety of the GSU/GCU too is managed by
the control unit. A safety shutdown will, for
example, be implemented when there is a
shortage of water, gas or in case of other, not
yet defined operating conditions.
Simultaneously, a corresponding fault
message will be displayed, that will tell your
contractor everything he needs to know to
carry out respective remedial/maintenance
work.
The DHW is indirectly heated via the
unpressurised cylinder water in a corrugated
stainless steel pipe heat exchanger. This
stores approx. 24 litres DHW at the
temperature of the DHW zone. If more DHW is
drawn, that water will be heated according to
the instantaneous water heater principle. This
has already been proven as a perfect solution
in the DHW cylinder ROTEX Sanicube for more
than 20 years. Excellent corrosion resistance,
low susceptibility to scaling and, most of all,
optimum water hygiene are the hallmarks of
this heating principle.
Extensive research by the Hygiene-Instituts of
the university Tübingen have shown that this
principle is far superior to every other kind of
conventional pressurised cylinder. Particularly
in conjunction with the utilisation of solar
energy, this excellent water hygiene offers
additional assurance against bacterial growth
in the hot water.
Details regarding the technical layout and
functional backgrounds are described in detail
in chapter 5.
