4. If no signal exists:
a) Check antenna connection.
b) Check connection to the module (GSM).
c) Check the wiring. If there is a problem, contact the dealer.

The modem has to be placed in a way that ensures sufficient signal strength. To improve signal
strength, the antenna can be moved to another position. Signal strength may depend on how
close the modem is to a radio base station. You must ensure that the location, at which you
intend to use the modem, is within the network coverage area

If it is weak, change the antenna location.

1. Check the baud rate and the channel address (refer to Configuring the Channel Settings,

2. Ensure that the Communicator’s baud rate matches the controllers’ baud rate.
