Introduction
The SA-06 Wireless Keypad is a supervised input reader for use
with Rosslare's SP-06 and SP-06V wireless security panels. A
single security control panel can connect to up to eight
keypads and the control panels are available in a variety of
operating frequencies.
The SA-06 Keypad is lightweight, portable, and wall
mountable. It is powered by one lithium battery, which can
power the keypad for over two years of normal use. The
keypad can also run from two batteries, extending the
operational lifetime further still.
The keypad is built to be entirely tamper proof. It registers a
tamper alert if its front cover is removed or (for wall mounted
units) if it is removed from the wall. In addition, the unit's
antenna is housed inside the unit to prevent misuse.
The unit contacts the host panel every twenty minutes with its
activation state and any tamper alerts, and also alerts the host
panel when the keypad's battery is running low.

Installation
3.1
Registering the Keypad
To use the SA-06 Keypad, it must be registered with the SP-06 or
SP-06V host control panel. To register a new device with the
control panel, the panel must disarmed.
Press the
MENU

button on the control panel's keypad. The
displays a request for the installer code
Enter the installer code on the keypad. (The default code is
8888). The menu options appear on the display.
Press the
key to scroll down to the ZONE menu. Press

key to scroll down to the ADD R/F option. Press

To install the SA-06 keypad, specify the sensor type and sensor
number.

3.2
Operating the Keypad
The user arms and disarms the host control panel by entering a
4 digit code on the keypad or by use of an iButton code key.
The keypad also includes a "Panic" button, which raises a
personal emergency alarm at the host panel.
