Disk Recall Individual items Menu
6. Eject the storage device from the switcher.
This completes the procedure for recalling your individual memory registers from a storage device.
Recalling Individual Custom Control Macros
Use the following procedure to recall individual custom control macros from a storage device to the
Synergy Switcher:
1. Navigate to the Disk Recall Individual Items Menu as follows:
• Press HOME

B
Recall Individual .
2. Insert a storage device into the Synergy Switcher as follows:
• Insert the floppy disk that contains the custom control macros into the floppy disk
drive of the Synergy Switcher.
OR
• Insert a USB key that contains the custom control macros into the USB port of the
Synergy Switcher. You must wait 5 seconds after inserting the USB key into the
USB port before you can recall macro files from it.
3. Press CustCtrl Macro in the Disk Recall Individual Items Menu .
4. Select the custom control macro file as follows:
• Use the From disk knob to select the location of the file.
• Use the To switcher knob to select the switcher location to load the file to.
The Custom Control Legend indicates the meaning of the icons that appear by the
files selected.
Caution
Do NOT remove the floppy disk or USB key from the switcher before
the LED on the disk drive or USB port goes out. Doing so may destroy
the data on your floppy disk or USB key, as well as the data on the next
one you insert into the switcher.
Note
Only macros stored with the method outlined in the section “ Saving
Individual Custom Control Macros ” on page 8–28, will be available
to recall individually.
