Squeeze & Tease Menu 2-2
For all flying keys, Squeeze & Tease Menu 2 provides the following controls:
• Toggle the
VMirror
softkey to mirror the picture vertically.
• Toggle the
HMirror
softkey to mirror the picture horizontally.
• Toggle the
Graphics Mode
softkey to enable or disable the graphics mode —
specifically for improved still images.

When Graphics Mode is enabled for still images , vertical resolution is doubled.
Image processing is at 30 fps.
~ When disabled, image processing is at 60 fps.
Note that when a still image is moved (for example, with an effects dissolve ),
graphics mode is automatically turned off.
• Toggle the
Freeze
softkey to freeze or unfreeze the picture. In this mode, the
Squeeze & Tease function acts like a frame store. Note that the label “ Frozen ” is
displayed when the image is frozen.

S&T Mode
softkey to display the S&T Menu .

• Select
Normal
to keep the Squeeze & Tease image size at a 4:3 aspect ratio.
• Select
4:3/16:9
to adjust flying 4:3 Squeeze & Tease images to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
In this mode, choose one of three options with the bottom knob:

Select Pillarbox to place black side panels on either side of the image.
~ Select Pan & Scan to allow you to vertically pan and scan the image,
effectively focusing (or isolating) either the top or bottom portions of the
image.
~ Select 14:9 to effectively view a compromise between the “Pillarbox” and
“Pan & Scan” modes, using a slight amount of each manipulation.
