Synergy 100 Control Panel CPU Board — Functional Blocks

The major 

functional blocks 

are described below:

1. Program/Preset Buses

This area includes the buttons for the PGM, PST, and Key buses. 

2. Transition Control Group

This area includes all the transition control buttons and the fader.

3. Effects Control Group

This area includes all the buttons and potentiometers for the 

Effects Control Group

.

4. Effects Keyer Group

This area includes all the buttons and knobs in the 

Effects Keyer Group

. 

5. Mattes Group

This area includes the knobs for the 

Mattes Group

.

6. Downstream Keyer Group

This area includes the buttons and potentiometers in the 

Downstream Keyer Group

.

7. FPGA

This area includes the FPGA with its 2.5V power components, the microprocessor, and 
the memory chips.

8. Socketed IC

One socketed IC is provided for the panel’s boot prom.
