Synergy 1 and Synergy 100 Maintenance Guide (v16-S1)

About Redundant Power 

The 

Redundant Power Supply 

option provides protection against AC power failure in the Synergy 1 

control panel. The option allows the control panel to receive power from two independent power 
sources. With the option installed, complete failure of one power source will not affect switcher 
operation. 

The installation of the 

Redundant Power Supply 

option is a complex upgrade procedure that is best 

performed at the Ross factory. For information on upgrading your Synergy 1 system with redundant 
power, please contact Ross Technical Support.

Note

The 

Redundant Power Supply

 option is only available in the Synergy 

1 control panel. This option is not available for either the Synergy 100 
control panel or the Synergy 1 frame.
