This switch controls the ability to upgrade software 

from a storage device:

 — Software can be upgraded from a floppy disk or USB key. Refer to the 

section “

Synergy 1 Software Upgrades

” on page 3–9 for upgrade instructions 

for your Synergy 1 control panel. For information on upgrading the software 
for your Synergy 100 control panel, refer to the section “

Synergy 100 

Software Upgrade

” on page 3–19.
