A green or yellow indicator is shown for each bus
on each ME. As you select different sources on each
bus, the indicator updates, showing if the source is
synchronized or not. A green indicator shows that
the source selected on the corresponding bus and
ME is synchronized with the switcher reference. A
yellow indicator shows that the source selected on
the corresponding bus and ME is not synchronized
with the switcher reference. This source should be
synchronized to the switcher reference from the
source.

Output Boards

Note: If an output is set to UHDTV1, only the first output
in the group of four outputs that make up the UHDTV1
output is shown. The remaining outputs are grayed out.
A green or yellow indicator is shown for each output
BNC on each Video Output board installed in the
frame. A green indicator shows that the video being
output on the corresponding output BNC is
synchronized with the switcher reference. A yellow
indicator shows that the video being output on the
corresponding BNC is not synchronized with the
switcher reference.
Bus Selection Status
You can view what is selected on every bus of every ME
on the switcher. This can be useful for diagnosing
switcher behaviour.
To View the Bus Selection Status
Press HOME > Status > More > ME XPT Status .
Tx/Rx Status
The switcher tracks the status of the communication ports
on the control panel and frame and records errors.
To View the Tx/Rx Status of the Control Panel
Ports
Press HOME > Status > More > Tx/Rx Status .
The menu shows the current status of the remote ports
(R1-R8), the external link ports (ELP2-ELP4), and the
communication between the control panel and the frame
(Panel/Frame).
To View the Serial Tx/Rx Errors
1. Press HOME > Status > More > Tx/Rx Errors .
Tip: Press Reset Count to reset the error count. This will
clear all the error counters on the control panel and frame.

Use the
Panel
knob to select the port on the control
panel that you want to view the errors for. The errors
for the selected port are listed in the Panel Errors
area.

Total Errors
— view all errors for the ports on
the control panel.

ExtLnk X
— view errors for the external link
ports only.
•
Remote X
— view errors for the remote ports
only.

Frame
knob to select the port on the frame
that you want to view the errors for. The errors for
the selected port are listed in the Frame Errors area.
• Total Errors — view all errors for the ports on
the frame.

FRM2PAN
— view errors for the panel port
only.

PERIPH X
— view errors for the peripheral
ports only.
FSFC Status
The switcher tracks the status of the frame synchronizers
and format converters on the MultiProcessor Input and
12G MultiProcessor Input boards.
To View the FSFC Status

The menu shows the current status of the Frame Syncs
and Format Converters on each input board.
Running Custom Controls Status
The switcher provides a list of all running custom
controls, including the panel they are running on and
their current status.

The menu shows a list of all the custom controls that are
currently running.
