ACO-4400A User Manual (Iss. 03)

Using DashBoard

DashBoard enables you to setup and monitor the ACO-4400A from a computer. Before
proceeding, ensure that the DashBoard software is installed on a computer connected to your
facility network and on the same subnet as your ACO-4400A. The DashBoard software and user
manual area available from the Ross Video website.

Adding the ACO-4400A to the Tree View

You must add the ACO-4400A to the Tree View in DashBoard before you can access the setup
and monitoring interfaces. This requires manually adding the ACO-4400A by specifying its IP
address and providing it with a unique name for identification within the Tree View.

To launch DashBoard

1.

Ensure that you are running DashBoard software version 8.0.0 or higher.

2.

Launch DashBoard by double-clicking its icon on your desktop.

To add the ACO-4400A to the Basic Tree View in DashBoard

1.

From the DashBoard main toolbar, select

File

>

New

>

TCP/IP DashBoard Connect

or openGear Device

.

The

New TCP openGear Frame Connection

dialog opens.

Type the IP address of the ACO-4400A in the

IP Address

field.

3.

Type a unique name for the ACO-4400A in the

Display Name

field. This name makes

the ACO-4400A easily identifiable in the Tree View.

Click

Finish

5.

Ensure that the ACO-4400A is displayed in the Tree View located on the left-side of the
DashBoard window. Consult the

DashBoard User Manual

should the Tree View not

display the ACO-4400A.
