100% represents 20 mA

Note

When the Poll Address (

) is a non-zero number, the transmitter is in

multi-drop

mode

and the current output is fixed at 4 mA.

Field Communicator or AMS

To view the percentage of current output in use:

1.From the

Home

screen, select 3: Service Tools.

2.Select 2: Variables, and then 2: Analog Output.

3.Select 3: Percentage of Current Output.

When finished, press the Bksp key to exit to the previous menu.

Rosemount 3490 Series Control Unit

To view the percentage of current output in use:

From the

Main Menu

screen, select MONITOR.

Select the transmitter (e.g. “

Tx1: 3107

”).

Select READINGS, and then select CURRENT.

Select % of Current Output.

When finished, press the ESC key to exit to the previous menu.
