Configuration of the alarm relay

When the “Alarm relay contact opens with Alarm/PC CONFIGURATION” is selected, additional configurations for
the behaviour of the alarm output can be set through the ROPEX visualisation software (



section 9.8 "USB inter-

face for visualisation software ROPEXvisual

).

NOTE

ROPEX recommends the configuration “Contact of alarm relay opens in case of alarm” in com-
bination with contactor Kb to switch off the load in the event of a fault. As a result, the interrup-
tion of the line (cable breakage) between the alarm relay of the RESISTRON® temperature
controller and the alarm signal relay will be monitored.
