• Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Prior to each use, check the appliance and the attachments for soundness, it must not be operated if it
has been dropped or shows visible damage. In these cases, the power supply must be disconnected and
the appliance has to be checked by a specialist.
• Pull the power plug after each use. Never let the cable hang down over the edge of the work surface so
that the appliance cannot be pulled down accidentally.
• Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces, sharp edges and mechanical forces. Check the power cord
regularly for damage and deteriorations. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of an electric
shock.
• Do not misuse the power cord for unplugging the appliance.
• This electrical appliance complies with the relevant safety standards. In case of signs of damage to the
appliance or the power cord, unplug the appliance immediately. Repairs may be effected by authorised
specialist shops only. Improper repairs may result in considerable dangers for the user.
• Improper use and disregard of the instruction manual void all warranty claims.
Safety advices on the usage of the appliance:
• Place the appliance on a stable and even surface and do not operate it in the vicinity of sources of heat
(oven, gas flame etc.) or in explosive environments where inflammable liquids or gases are located.
• During operation, do not use any object to stir in the jug and never touch the
running stirrer. To avoid injuries it is imperative to keep your hair, hands and
clothes away from the running stirrer!
• The appliance has a delayed motor stop after it has been switched off; therefore
please wait until it has stopped before opening the lid!
• Always keep the lid closed during operation!
• Never immerse jug, base station, power cord or plug in water for cleaning!
• Attention! Hazard of burns: During operation the jug becomes hot! Always touch
the appliance at the handle for pouring out and transportation!
• Attention: There is the hazard of burns with hot liquids!

… a stirrer is attached to the drive axle.
… the lid gasket is inserted in the lid.
… the lid sits firmly on the jug.
• In order to avoid spilling over, the jug may be filled with max. 200 ml for making milk foam and with
250 ml for heating/stirring liquids.
• Hot liquids with a temperature of more than 65 °C must not be processed.
• Do not operate this unit with an external timer or a separate telecontrol system.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation.
• Avoid any no-load operation and do not handle it with hands wet.
