Manual Head Cleaning
How often is Manual Head Cleaning needed?
Perform Manual Head Cleaning at least once a month.
To maintain reliable output conditions, perform Manual Head Cleaning at least once a month.
If the following problems are found, Manual Head Cleaning is recommended
If the following problems occur and any of the automatic cleaning functions have not solved the problem,
perform Manual Head Cleaning.
Please note that replacement of the wiper may also be an effective method to solve a problem.

Nozzle clogging
Ink spots
Dragged dirt
Dust and dirt stick to the
print heads and prevent
normal discharge of ink.
Ink gathers around dirt and
grime near the print heads
and ink drops are formed.
