Press the [–] [+] buttons to select the song that you want
to delete .

Press the [METRONOME] button .
A confirmation message appears.
If you decide to cancel, press the [ ] (SLOW) button.

Press the [ ] (FAST) button .
The selected song is deleted.
NOTE
Do NOT turn off the power or disconnect the USB flash drive
while “Working.” is displayed.
9.
Press the [SONG] and [RHYTHM] buttons simultaneously
to finish .
Disabling the Buttons (Panel Lock)
The Panel Lock feature disables all buttons.
You can use this feature to protect against accidental button
presses during a performance.
1.
Hold down the [TRANSPOSE] button until “Lock” appears
in the display .
The Panel Lock feature disables all buttons.
2.
To unlock the panel, hold down the [TRANSPOSE] button
until “Lock” disappears .
Panel lock is also canceled when the FP-50 is turned off.
* If you activate Panel Lock while a song or rhythm is playing,
playback will stop.
* Under the following circumstances, Panel Lock cannot be
activated.
• When the FP-50 is in Function mode (p. 37).
• When recording a performance
Restoring the Factory Settings
(Factory Reset)
Use this feature to return all settings stored in Memory Backup (p. 33)
to their factory values. This feature is called “Factory Reset.”
NOTE
A factory reset returns all of your saved settings to their factory
values.
MEMO
Songs and registration sets that are saved in the internal
memory or on a USB flash drive are not erased when you
execute a factory reset.
If you want to erase all songs and registration sets from internal
memory or from a USB flash drive, refer to “Reformatting
Memory (Format Media)” (p. 36).
1.
Press the [SONG] and [RHYTHM] buttons simultaneously .
2.
Press the [ ] [ ] (SLOW/FAST) buttons to select “FctReset .”
3.
Press the [METRONOME] button .
The factory reset screen appears.
If you decide to cancel, press the [ ] (SLOW) button.
4.
Press the [ ] (FAST) button .
The memory is reset to its factory values.
Once the memory has been reset, “END” is displayed.
NOTE
Do NOT turn off the power while “Working.” is displayed.
5.
Turn the power off, then on again (p . 13) .
