Multisample
Here’s how to erase all notes.
1.
In the Multisample Edit screen, hold down [SHIFT] and
press [F2 (Erase All)].
A screen will ask you for confirmation.

Press [F7 (OK)].
If you decide to cancel, press [F8 (CANCEL)].
A “zone” is a region to which the same sample is assigned. Here’s
how to assign a sample to the currently selected zone (the “current
zone”).

In the Multisample Edit screen, hold down [SHIFT] and
press [F3 (Sample Select)].
The Sample List window will appear, allowing you to assign
the selected sample to the current zone.
The buttons have the following functions.
• [F7 (EXIT)] or [Exit]
Cancel the operation and return to the previous screen.
• [F6 (Preview)]
Auditions the sample.
• [F8 (Select)] or [ENTER]
Selects the sample and return to the Multisample Edit screen.
Samples you record or import are set so that they will play at their
original pitch when you press the C4 note.
In order to correctly match the key of the sample to the keyboard,
you must modify the “original key” of the sample.
For example, if you sampled a sound whose pitch was E4, you’ll
need to change its “original key” setting to E4 so that it will play at
its original pitch when you press the E4 note of the keyboard.

A sample will not play more than two octaves higher than its original
key.

In the Multisample Edit screen, press [F5 (Original Key)].
The Sample Original Key window will open.
The buttons have the following functions.
• VALUE dial, [INC][DEC]
Change the original key of the sample assigned to the current
note.
• [F7 (Preview)]
The sample will play at its current original key while you
continue holding down the button.
• [F8 (Close)]
Closes the Sample Original Key window.
• Keyboard
When you play the keyboard, the original key of the sample
assigned to the most recently pressed note will be displayed.

Save the sample whose original key you changed.

This operation reassigns all samples currently assigned to the
multisample, so that they are placed in the order of their original key
setting. (This produces the same result as Create Multisample.)
