Chapter 1 Selecting and Playing Sounds

Functions of the Upper/Lower/Pedal Bass Sound
Select Buttons

fig.01-06

Each time you press a voice button, its indicator will switch between being
lit and being turned off. Voices that have their button indicator lit can be
played.

Two voices of the same family are assigned to each voice button. Buttons
with voices from two different families have the names of both voices
printed on them.

The [Alternate] button switches between these two voices.

The [Alternate] button

Voice that will be selected

The [Alternate] button is not lit.

The voice indicated on the button is
selected.

The [Alternate] button is lit.

Another voice of the same family or
the voice indicated on the bottom half
of the button is selected.
