Example:
AM:RAT 50PCT
sets 50 percent AM2/AM1 ratio.
Options:
R&S
SMF-B20
Manual operation:
See
[:SOURce<hw>]:AM:SCAN:STATe
<State>
Activates logarithmic amplitude modulation.
Parameters:
<State>
OFF | ON
*RST:
0
Example:
AM:SCAN:STAT ON
activates the logarithmic amplitude modulation.
Options:
R&S
SMF-B20
Manual operation:
See
[:SOURce<hw>]:AM<ch>:SENSitivity
<Sensitivity>
Queries the sensitivity of the externally applied modulation signal at the EXT1, 2 con-
nectors, provided scanning state is activated. The sensitivity depends on the set modu-
lation
The returned value reports the sensitivity in dB/V.
Suffix:
AM<ch>
.
1..2
determines the modulation signal channel.
Parameters:
<Sensitivity>
float
Range:
-10 to 10
Increment: 0.1
*RST:
1
Example:
AM1:SENS 5
sets the input sensitivity to 5 dB/V for path 1.
Options:
R&S
SMF-B20
Manual operation:
See
[:SOURce<hw>]:AM<ch>:SOURce
<Source>
Selects the modulation signal source for amplitude modulation.
The external signal is input at the EXT1, 2 connectors. You can use both, the internal
and an external modulation signal at a time.
