Remote Commands
Through the LAN connection (Fast Ethernet), nearly all device functions and the trans-
fer of measurement data can be remotely operated from a PC / network using the TCP
port 8000 (for I/Q data: 8001 (RX1) or 8002 (RX2)).
The command syntax is not SCPI-conform.
IP addresses and subnet mask identifier are set in the setup menu (see

Channel Addressing
The R&S
EVSG1000 offers two possibilities to address one of two independent RX
boards by remote control.

Active RX board
Any remote command is valid for the current active RX board as shown in the Info
Line of the display (see
Chapter 1.6.1, "Understanding the Display Information"
●
Direct Addressing
To address an RX board directly, any command can be preceded by the prefix
@1
or
@2
followed by the command.
Example:
Set frequency of RX board 1
@1 RF108100

Get DDM from RX board 2
