Scenario / Controlled By
Scenario switches between certain test situations that require different sets of parame-
ters. Some parameters are only available for a specific scenario.
Selects the measurement scenario. The CDMA2000 TX measurement can either be
used standalone or in conjunction with the CDMA2000 signaling application (option
R&S CMW-KS800). In the latter case, the signaling application configures signal rout-
ing and analyzer settings. The measurement settings described in this section are then
ignored.
●
StandAlone (Non Signaling):
provides you the non-signaling CDMA2000 mea-
surement, using all CDMA2000 measurement settings.
●
Combined Signal Path:
allows you to use a CDMA2000 signaling application
(options R&S CMW-KS800) in combination with CDMA2000 measurement. The
signaling application is selected by the additional parameter "Controlled by".
The parameters described in this section display values determined by the signal-
ing application. The corresponding measurement settings are remembered in the
background and displayed again when switching back to the standalone scenario.

Remote command:
ROUTe:CDMA:MEAS<i>?
ROUTe:CDMA:MEAS<i>:SCENario?
ROUTe:CDMA:MEAS<i>:SCENario:SALone
ROUTe:CDMA:MEAS<i>:SCENario:CSPath
Connector, Converter
Selects the input path for the measured RF signal, i.e. the input connector and the RX
module to be used.
Depending on your hardware configuration there may be dependencies between both
parameters. Select the RF connector first. The "Converter" parameter offers only val-
ues compatible with the selected RF connector.
In the Standalone (SA) scenario, these parameters are controlled by the measurement.
In the Combined Signal Path (CSP) scenario, they are controlled by the signaling appli-
cation.
For connector and converter settings in the combined signal path scenario, use one of
the
ROUTe:CDMA:SIGN<i>:SCENario:...
signaling commands.
Remote command:
ROUTe:CDMA:MEAS<i>:SCENario:SALone
(SA)
ROUTe:CDMA:SIGN<i>:SCENario:...
(CSP)
External Attenuation (Input)
Defines the value of an external attenuation (or gain, if the value is negative) in the
input path. The power readings of the R&S
CMW are corrected by the external attenu-
ation value.
The external attenuation value is also used in the calculation of the maximum input
power that the R&S
CMW can measure.
If a correction table for frequency-dependent attenuation is active for the chosen con-
nector, then the table name and a button are displayed. Press the button to display the
table entries.
