Chapter 5 Preventative Maintenance and Component Replacement

Replace LV Control Circuit Breakers

1. Open the LV Control cabinet door.
2. Switch the circuit breaker to the off position.

Figure 68 - Circuit Breaker Location in LV Control Cabinet

3. Loosen the top and bottom screws and remove the wires on the circuit

breaker.

4. Release the spring-loaded latches at the bottom of the circuit breaker and

lift the circuit breaker off the DIN rail.

ATTENTION:

Always perform Power Lockout procedure before servicing

equipment. Verify with a hot stick or appropriate voltage measuring device

that all circuits are voltage free. Failure to do so may result in severe burns,

injury, or death.
