Chapter 7 Copy Cat Menu
Deleting Copy Cat Files Deleting a Copy Cat file from the memory of the Configuration Terminal is done
by selecting the Delete option at the Copy Cat Choice menu. Select the file name
to delete, and press the
Enter key to delete the file. If all the files have been
deleted, the screen will again display the Copy Cat Choice menu, but the Delete
and HIM -> Dev options will not be displayed.
Copy Cat Memory The Copy Cat memory screen displays how many files are stored in the
DeviceNet™ HIM and how many blocks of memory are left for copying. The
maximum number of files that can be stored in the Configuration Terminal is 31.
Depending on the number of parameters in each file, there may not be enough
memory to store all 31.
Note : Each block of memory is equal to 128 bytes in the
memory, and there are 128 blocks of memory reserved for file storage.
DeviceLogix™ Library 5
Support The 193-DNCT Series B or higher supports the upload/download of a
DeviceLogix file. This feature is only available when the device supports the
parameter object and DeviceLogix.
