Chapter 5

Set Up the UEFI Utility

Diagnostics

The Diagnostics menu lets you run the diagnostics utility to determine the cause
of the system malfunction by testing computer components, such as the
processor, memory, drives, video, and other hardware.

Select a menu option by pressing the up



or down



arrow keys and pressing

Enter when a menu is highlighted. Press the left



or right



arrow keys to

toggle between the five Diagnostics menu selections.

The following table lists the shortcut options in the Diagnostics menu.

Stops a test in progress or exits Diagnostics from any of the six menu options.

Enter

Runs the highlighted test or option.

Displays the Help screens.

Edits batch parameters.

Loads batch parameters.

Saves batch parameters.

Selects or deselects the current test.

Selects or deselects all tests.

Selects or deselects all quick tests.

Displays a list of the Diagnostic function keys.
