6.3 Indoor installation
For a correct ventilation of the compressor room provide the following :
•
Air inlet windows suitable for the intake of the air flow rate Qa suched by the compressor operating simultaneously and the air
cooling flow rate Qv
•
Air outlet windows suitable for the exit of the cooling air flow rate Qv, position a suitable extraction fan on these windows
Qv ( m3/h ) is the total ventilation flow rate suggested to maintain the room temperature abaout 10°C above the outdoor temperature and it
is calculated from the sum No ( kW ) of the motors operating simultaneously in the room following this relation :
Qv = 40 x No

•
UNIT WITH AUXILIARY PANEL (OPTIONAL) Wire the auxiliary electric cabinet (see rear ROBOX SCREW) to the electric supply
cabinet following the drawing attacched at chapter 10.3
to insert it in the safety chain of the electric supply cabinet.
ATTENZIONE: ROBOX SCREW it’s not guaranteed if electrical connections are not wired as descrive
on the scheme at chapter 10.3.
•
Protect the main motor, the noise enclosure fan motor and the motor of the eventual servoventialtion of the main motor by mean
of automatic switches set at the relevant nominal currents indicated in the relevant motor plates
•
Use suitable electric cables depending on the nominal current of the electric motors
•
Keep the electric cables away from heat sources and/or pointed edges
•
Wiring diagram accompanies the terminal box of the motors , if the diagram has not been supplied request it from the motor
manufacturers
•
Protect the system by means a suitable grounding device, use the terminal PE showed in the drawings at pages 41
•
Install a local control panel with a general switch with a key in order to lock it in open position during service operations.
