General Maintenance Procedures
Note: These procedures are to be performed while
there is no welding occurring!
Replacing the Filter Cartridge
The A15 PleatLock premium filter of the RoboVent PRC
can be back – pulsed countless times before it need
to be replaced. Prior to making a decision to replace
the filter, first follow the pulsing procedures outlined in
General Operation in Section 400. The cartridge can also
be taken out and manually cleaned with compressed air.
If the RoboVent PRC still does not draw sufficiently, then
replace the cartridge.
PRC-1200:
To replace the filter cartridge, release the
filter clamps by pulling outwards on the two levers
located on each side of the filter. Figure 5. Slide the
cartridge out the door and replace with a new RoboVent
filter. Figure 6.
PRC-800:
Replacing the filter cartridge is as easy as
opening the top hatch door and removing the filter. Be
sure to clean all dust and debris from the filter plenum
before replacing the cleaned or new filter cartridge.

Blower Maintenance
The blower in your RoboVent PRC will require very little
attention, although it is important to make sure it is kept
clean. If your motor is fitted with grease nipples, they
must be lubricated every six months.
Installation of a new blower wheel requires a certified
RoboVent Technician to balance the wheel and motor.
