3.5.2 Wiring with RS232 to RS485 converter
When using a RS232 to RS485 converter (see
), the wiring must respect

Warning
Do not wire converter pin #3 (5V) on the RS485.
The 24V power supply is
supplied via the converter.

The converted side will provide you with a standard DB - 9 female connector with signaling as shown in Figure
3.5.2.1.
