POWER SOURCES
AC POWER:
You can power your portable stereo system by plugging the AC power
cord (7) into a wall power outlet. Check that the rated voltage of your appliance ma-
tches your local voltage.
BATTERY POWER:
To use the radio with batteries, disconnect the AC power cord
and insert 6 × “LR14” batteries into the compartment (8). Be sure that the batteries
are inserted correctly to avoid damage to the appliance. Remove the batteries when
the radio will not be used for a long period of time, as this will cause leakage to the
batteries and subsequently damage to your radio.
TO USE THE RADIO
1. Rotate the
[Volume Knob]
(1) clockwise to power ON the unit;
2. Choose the radio wave band using the
[AM/FM Band]
button (2/3);
3. Adjust radio frequency to your desired station by turning the
[Tuning Knob]
(6);
4. Adjust the volume with the
[Volume knob]
(1);
5. To switch off the radio, rotate the
[Volume Knob]
(1) completely counter-
clockwise.
Note:
For a better reception of FM radio, reorient the antenna (9)
.
Note:
Press the
[Light]
button (4) to switch ON the Dial Scale illumination.
