CAUTION!
Risk of crushing and impact due to the guide
carriage falling!
If linear units are aligned at an incline or vertically,
the guide carriage can fall down on its own and
cause injuries.
– Secure the guide carriage against falling down
on its own, e.g. by using a holding module or a
linear brake.
– Slide the guide carriage into the bottom end
position.
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing and impact due to falling
loads!
Insufficiently secured loads which are moved by
the linear unit may fall down and cause injuries.
– Secure loads that are to be moved by the linear
unit properly and sufficiently for the application.
CAUTION!
Risk of cutting on the worn timing belt!
Wear can cause stranded wires to protrude from
the timing belt, which may lead to cuts.
– Check the timing belt regularly for wear.
Observe the maintenance intervals.
– Proceed with care when carrying out work on a
worn timing belt.
– Do not let the timing belt run through your fin-
gers. Wear protective gloves if necessary.
2.3.3 Thermal hazards
