2.3.2 Mechanical hazards

WARNING!
Risk of crushing, impact and shearing due to

the movable guide carriage!

Reaching into the area of the movable guide car-

riage may cause severe injury.

– Do not reach into the area of the movable guide

carriage or handle moving components during

operation.

– Only carry out work when the linear unit is at a

standstill. If necessary, only move the guide car-

riage manually.

– In the danger zone, wear close-fitting protective

clothing with low tear resistance.

Danger zones:

Risk of impact due to the movable guide carriage

Risk of crushing between the guide carriage and the pulley box

Risk of shearing between the guide carriage and the laterally

mounted limit switch
