2.3.1 Electrical hazards
Depending on whether an optional gear unit, a motor or an induc-
tive limit switch is used, the following applies:

Danger of death due to electric current!
There is an imminent danger of death in the event
of contact with live parts. Damage to the insulation
or individual components can be life-threatening.
– Only have qualified electricians carry out work
on the electrical system.
– If the insulation is damaged, switch off the
power supply immediately and arrange a repair.
– Before commencing work on live parts of elec-
trical systems and equipment, establish and
ensure the voltage-free state for the duration of
the work.
– Never bridge or disable fuses. When replacing
fuses, adhere to the correct current specifica-
tion.
– Keep moisture away from live parts. Otherwise,
this can lead to a short-circuit.
